Anexo-24 of general rules concerning Mexican Foreign Trade is a computer system developed to control and maintain an inventory mentioned in Rule 3.3.3. According to this the inventory system of control should allow at least the following:

• To comply with the provisions of the Customs Act, its regulations and rules of a general nature concerning foreign trade in terms of inventory control of goods imported temporarily.
• Having a tool that enables verification goods returned that were imported temporarily and also the status and control of those goods awaiting to return.
• Enable control of temporarily imported goods intended to change their regime to definitely imported transfer, donation or destruction, as well resources considered waste and depleted goods.
• Have an instrument that would facilitate compliance with provisions of Article 303 of NAFTA.
• Generate reports that allow to comply with information requirements established in customs provisions and customs authority itself.
